COORDINATING MECHANISM (CCM)

The Government of Lesotho, through its Country
Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) intends to make an
application to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB
and Malaria (GFATM) under the Round 11 Call for
Proposals. The CCM has identified the following
as key focus areas for Round 11:

TB disease
-
Health and Community System Strengthening
with a focus to delivery of TB, HIV and
Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH)
services.
Part of the Proposal therefore must include the
selection of approved Principal Recipients (PRs)
for the Grant. The GFATM requires the Country
Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) to select PRs to
oversee the implementation of the grant. The PRs
will be legally accountable for the portion of
the overall grant assigned to it. This includes
management of grants to Sub-Recipients and other
implementing partners.
Therefore interested institutions shall be a
legally constituted entity and a local
stakeholder from public, private or civil
society. Applicants must include in their
submissions their suitability for managing and
disbursing large grants and demonstrate their
capacity in the following five areas:
1.
Financial management and systems
2.
Program management
3.
Sub-recipient (grantee) management and
support
4.
Procurement and supply management
5.
Monitoring and evaluation
The deadline for submissions is Friday 9th
September 2011 at 12:00hrs.
